Do you sometimes understand the lesson but struggle with solving the problems?

Have you ever experienced the frustration of feeling like you understood the lesson in class, but when it comes to solving problems, you're struggling? If you have, don't worry, you're not alone! This happens because there's a difference between "understanding" and "being able to do it."

Let's take a look at what these two terms mean. "Understanding" is when you learn new knowledge in class and comprehend its meaning. However, just understanding it doesn't mean that you can earn points on an exam. On the other hand, "being able to do it" is when you can apply that knowledge correctly, and earn points on an exam.

Now, the big question is, how can you move from "understanding" to "being able to do it?" The answer is simple: practice, practice, and more practice!

Think of it this way - even if you understand how to ride a bike, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to ride it smoothly without practice. Similarly, to excel in your studies, you need to solve a lot of practice problems. By repeatedly practicing, you'll be able to move from "understanding" to "being able to do it."

Remember, it's okay to make mistakes along the way - in fact, it's all part of the learning process! So, don't let the fear of failure hold you back. Keep giving it your best shot, and with enough practice, you'll be able to master the art of problem-solving.

With the EJU in June and the JLPT in July coming up, now is the perfect time to start building up your practice! So, let's work hard and steadily to ensure that you'll be able to show off your skills on the big day!
